I've tried all suggestions and still can't get Firefox desktop to sync with Android app. Passwords, history sync fine - just not bookmarks from PC to Mobile.

I recently converted from Chrome to Firefox. Imported my bookmarks to Firefox without issue. However syncing from my PC (Win 10) to my Android (Galaxy S10+) will not sync my bookmarks. History, logins, profile picture all sync fine - just no bookmarks. I've spent two days now trying all the suggestion I could find online to correct, but no luck yet.

1. PC running Firefox v69 2. Android running Mobile v 68 (updated 8/29/19) 3. PC --> Android | Only bookmarks are not syncing. 4. Android --> PC | Newly added bookmarks on phone sync to PC under "mobile bookmarks" 5. I've tried disconnecting both devices from my sync account and reconnecting - Fail 6. I've tried disconnecting both devices from my sync account and create an entirely new sync account on both - Fail 7. I'm logged in to the same account on both devices. 8. I have used the "sync now" option on both devices - Fail 9. Android Firefox bookmark page displays "Firefox: About your browser", "Firefox: Customize with add-ons", "Firefox: Support" plus any newly bookmarked pages originating from that device. No bookmarks from my PC are displayed.

Most likely there were other steps I attempted, just can't remember them right now. Can anyone help me get my bookmarks from my PC to my Android? At this point I'd be happy with just that. But if I was able to automatically sync bookmarks (like in Chrome), that would be a home run.

Thanks.

Hi

Firefox Sync will automatically move bookmarks and other content that you have selected between the two devices.

Do you have "bookmarks" selected as an item to sync when you look at your Firefox Account settings on your PC?

Hi Seburo,

Yes, I have bookmarks selected in both devices. Unfortunately at this point I'm going to have to switch back to Chrome in order to enjoy syncing successfully between my devices.

Thanks for the response.

I am sorry to hear that, but hopefully you will try Firefox for Android again in the near future.
