I've lost all bookmarks, logins and saved passwords, add ons and basically everything. I have made sure that all my data is synced and even tested it a couple of times after changing devices and every time it worked perfectly and restored my data. Now, I've just changed devices after a while with no internet, I go to sign in and I forgot my pass so I reset it and signed in successfully but nothing at all is restored not a single thing. I'm devastated, I hope there a solution to this.

Resetting the sync password, or changing its e-mail, will remove all data from the servers.

Hi - Thank you!! Well, I cannot seem to find the place where there was a "please provide content" message near the top of the page again. But when I follow the instruction "troubleshooting" from the Help dropdown list, and I have the long long list in the troubleshooting information window - there are 2 boxes "show in finder." 1st is "update folder" - yields a "Firefox" in an "Applications" window

2nd is "profile folder"- yields a "Profile" window.

There are no further instructions as to what to do with either of these to bring back my old profile which was unchanged for several years. Every single time I opened Firefox pretty much every day, all of my pinned addresses and every other pocket and all the traces of my weeks of travels were right there for me. I do still find all the months of web history travels available but not sure how to see if this can bring back my full Firefox home page like it always was.

Thank you Fred! doc

Hi doc2055

It looks that you are using a Mac (Show in Finder) and the OP that created this thread is using a Windows computer. The OP also hasn't responded yet.

So to avoid confusion, could you please start a new thread for your question?

EDIT: I should have checked it, but I see that you already created a new thread, so please continue there.
