Until today, whenever I used Firefox on Android to access sites requiring login, the login credentials always prefilled. While that might be obsolete technology, I liked it.

Now, Firefox for android has been upgraded, enhancing the system by continuing to prefill login credentials, except www.patreon.com

I realize this is ingenius, but the benefit is something I have been unable to figure out, which is why I am here instead of sleeping.

The links at the start of this quetion lead to screen shots from Android, which I could not upload from Android, but I was able to hack them into this question by sending the android screen shots to a computer, from which I was able to upload the pictures and thereby complete my hack, by linking to tghe uploaded files.

I have reason to believe the images linked above might possibly provide clarification of the nature of my problem, in the event you look at them.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

p.s. Regarding the version of Firefox I am running, I followed instructions for checking for updates on android firefox. The way it works is it says there are no updates but it does not say what version I have. That is an excellent way to minimize exposure to end users what version they are running. It just makes me wonder why you ask what version I am running, since that information is not available so far as I know.

The problem was that the logins recorded using my PC are for paypal.com. On my phone, the login that seems the same is for www.paypal.com. The login info did not know to use the same credentials regardless of whether the url starts with www or now.

Hi

Thank you for your question and the effort you have made to explain it to us.

Assuming you have the login credentials saved in Firefox for Android, the only thing that I can think is that Patreon has blocked (or not enabled) pre-completion of credentials on their site.
