Hi Ivette, normally when a page wants to use the camera, it triggers a drop-down near the left end of the address bar to grant/deny permission and, if you have more than one camera, to select the proper source. I guess that did not happen in this case?

Could you try using the Page Info dialog. While you are on the page, you can call that up using any of these:

  • Ctrl+i
  • right-click a blank area of the page and choose View Page Info
  • (menu bar) Tools menu > Page Info

Then click the Permissions icon at the top of the Page Info dialog. Above the box with the form controls, you should see this:

Permissions for https://www.facebook.com

(or whatever site you are broadcasting on).

Scroll down to "Use the camera" and uncheck the "Use default" box. Then select the permission you prefer (in this case, either "Always Ask" or "Allow").

Repeat with "Use the microphone".

Does that make any difference?
