I am running version 68.8.1 of Thunderbird.

Older versions allowed me to view the filter log from the Filters screen.

Now I can turn it on or off but nothing to let me view it.

Can you tell me how I can view the file so that I can see which filters were activated on messages?

Click Filter Log in the Tools/Message Filters window to turn the log on or off. Once the log is activated, and after filters have run, the log will appear in the Filter Log window (see picture).

The Filter log still does not display.

Where is it stored on the computer (Folder\Filename)?

The filterlog.html file is in the same folder as the msgFilterRules.dat file, the account subfolder of Mail or ImapMail in the profile folder.

The filter Log does not appear in the Box as pictured.

The file is in the location as described.

I even cleared it and enabled it again.

Sorry you were not able to resolve this issue.
