I share a lot of YT videos, and until the last month, had no problem in forwarding them. Now, TBird will forward the email, but leave the YT video 'blank' - like a photo placemark, with no way to click on it and go to the video. How can I restore the ability to forward videos? Version 68.9.0 (32-bit)on Win10. Thanks!

Which of the following do you mean:

You click on 'Forward' and the Write window opens.

  • A) It shows the contents of the forwarding email and the video link, so all looks ok at this point, but after sending the recipient is not seeing the link?
  • B) It shows the contents of the forwarding email, but the video link is 'blank' - like a photo placemark, so no point in attempting to send?

Test:

  • click on Forward and Write window opens showing forwarded content.
  • type some text and save as draft.
  • Close Write window.
  • click on 'Drafts' folder and select the saved email, so contents show in Message Pane.
  • Does the YT video link show ok?
  • If yes, when clicked on does it work as expected?

Please post results of test.
