Firefox on Android upgrade to 79 was done automatically now I can't find my history or bookmarks. And yes, I clicked the history link in the menu. There is nothing there but a link to Google search. How can I recover my bookmarks and history after the unwanted upgrade?

Chosen solution

Looks like there's no solution to my problem. I'm going to delete Firefox and download new browsers to check out. I'll give Firefox another chance when they come up with a usable browser.

If you tap the menu icon and select bookmarks, you should see your migrated bookmarks.

I clicked history and bookmarks, both were empty. Anyone know another way to locate and access the data?

What I dislike about the moderator response is that when a user posts a problem then it is assumed that the end user somehow made a mistake. The OP is right. It does not work and the moderator's reply is nonsensical.
