I am on Windows 10 and have not had trouble booting up Firefox to my home page, Dogpile, until the past few days. Every time I load Firefox, I get the captcha Are You a Robot? It is happening every time over the past few days. What is causing this? How can I get directly to my home website? Thank you very much for your help!

No and no to your questions. You gave me an idea when you talked about the history. I found that just clearing the cache stopped the problem.

Thank you!! ToSt

Have you set the browser to remove all cookies? Are you using another program to 'clean' the hard drive?

Your ‘logged-in’ status is stored in special cookies. If the cookie is removed, you are logged out.

You may be in Private Browsing mode or told Firefox not to remember.

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

Turn off Always Use Private Browsing Mode Turn on Remember My Browsing And Download History At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on ONLY Cache and Form And Search History leaving the others off. and whatever else you want.

We do not recommend using other programs to clean Firefox because they could corrupt the files. Also, the browser can clean itself.
