Hallo! I have tried to download a pdf file but the download failed. Now I get notifications about this failed download and firefox seems to retry the download and fails again and again. So the notifications are refreshed in my taskbar. How can I stop firefox downloading this file and how can I purge it out of the download cue? Thanks for any clue! Alex

Hi,

Pull down your notification and click on Cancel to cancel the download or
go to downloads and cancel it there.
if you want that file you can download it with chrome (or whatever other
browser) or uninstall this new rubbish version and install V68.11 from APKmirror

Thanks for your reply. I can delete the notification thats not the problem. But I cannot delete the download, since it does not come up in the download list. All the same it is restarted every day and the notification reappears. So how can unsuccessful downloads be stopped? Thanks! Alex

I think that this bug will be fixed in the next version (82).
