Are there options to set preferences/filters for the message search results?

Today auto-update installed TB 78.4.0 on my pc. I see fancy stuff like new icons in the folder pane and a timeline in the message search but I cannot find a settings to always show search results as list. Is there a way to have change the default according to user preference? I also cannot find a way to restrict the search to a specific part like sender, subject etc. as I can do on the quick filter toolbar. If I search for things like e. g. amazon in my messages, I get too many results and I cannot find an easy way to search only my latest transactions for something like order number or order amount.

Chosen solution

Classic Search (Ctrl+Shift+F) searches by account and has more options than the Quick Filter Bar (see picture).

There was an add-on to show Global Search results as a list by default, but it's for TB 60. I'm not aware of a preference to do the same.

Thanks for the hint with classic search. It's a shame that "list view" cannot be set as the results default as this is much more usable if there are many results.

The issue has been discussed for 10 years, with no built-in resolution in sight:
