impossible to keep my gmail account with OAuth2 authentification parameter
Hi ! I just activated my double authentification acount on Gmail and switched my parameters to OAuth2 in my thunderbird account (global and SMTP server) and everything is working fine. The only problem is that thnuderbird switch it automatically back to normal password option as soon as I restart my thunderbird or my computer shut down.
How can I fix this ?
Thank you in advance for your help
ps : this account is relatively old and was created before OAuth2 option existed. I have a new account that was initially configured as OAuth2 and does not exhibit the same problem.
ps2 :my Thunderbird version is 78.5.1 (32 bits)

That data in the session files should have updated to the 'Prefs.js' etc upon exiting Thunderbird. If you did not exit Thunderbird first before shutting the computer down then you run the risk of loosing data in files that are running.
Do you have any program that could be cleaning up session data, cache, cookies etc ? Eg: CCleaner or similar. Some Anti-Virus programs also have the ability to clean up these files.
