Wrong Language Displayed

more options

I've visited two websites in the last two days that are displaying the wrong language. I've cleared my Cache and Cookies. I also have English set as my default but the problem still occurs. I open the same website in Safari and no problem. Has to be Firefox.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks arogers... I didn't do exactly as you suggested but I decided to just uninstall FireFox and reinstalled and that resolved the problem.

You can check in Font Book for font issues like corrupted and duplicate fonts.

You can right-click and select "Inspect Element" to open the builtin Inspector with this element selected.

You can check in the Rules tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font-family is used for selected text. You can check in the Font tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font is actually used because Firefox might be using a different font than specified by the website.

This is crazy... This just started out of nowhere and NO, I am not going to the web developer's tools to atttempt to fix what is an obvious development issue. If this is what is expected, I will just go to Safari.... Sad, sad, sad I've been a FireFox user for more than a decade.

Just a suggestion. Try changing the language on Firefox from English to something else, and then change it back to English. This may fix your problem because sometimes an electronic can get hung up and just need to be cleared out.
