When I installed Firefox all my favorites from Windows came over as bookmarks. I want to separate these some how, because I don't want 50 bookmarks. What's the best way.

Hi Michael, you could delete the ones you don't want in the Library (Organizer) window. Either:

  • "Show All Bookmarks"
  • Ctrl+Shift+O

Did the bookmarks show up on the Bookmarks menu, or on the Bookmarks Toolbar? You can check by clicking the category in the left column to list the items on the right side. You can right-click Delete unwanted items. To multi-select, you can hold down the Ctrl key and click each unwanted item, then Delete them all. If something goes wrong, the Organize menu has an Undo item (or press Ctrl+z).

Success?
