I tried to refresh Firefox but it just kept saying almost done and never stops When I move my mouse pointer over the Firefox Icon to open the browser it says Firefox (4). It takes too longer before the browser opens. Should I uninstall and reinstall Firefox?

Chosen solution

Is there a reason you did the refresh?

You might be better of creating a new profile. Then Copying the files from the old profile.

Shut down Firefox. If needed, you can do so from the Task Manager

Open the Windows Run command (Windows key + R) Enter this in the box (edit the link so it points to your browser folder). Note the -profile switch at the end. This will open the Profile Manager.

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox_Current\firefox.exe" -profile
