Hello,

How can I choose to switch to another tab with Ctrl+tab shortcut if i have more than 7 (default tabs shown in popup) tabs open? Is there a way - anything from css customization to a extension than can help me achieve the old style look an functionality? (vertical display of all tabs). I'm looking to find this since few years back when it was changed, switching firefox with other browser in the process (vivaldi is doing it right, but have other issues)

Thanks

Hello! Can you explain what you mean by 'default tabs shown in popup'? Thanks!

Also, for your other question, there are browser extensions that offer vertical tabs functionality, such as the following: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tree-style-tab/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/sidebery/

Hi, i am talking about the tabs shown when/while holding Ctrl+tab. By default there are shown the last 7 tabs used (with the most recent used setting) but when i want to access a site that is not in the last 7 used, i need to search for the tab, but this is time consuming. A similar visual approach have opera but with the difference that tab list shown on ctrl+tab is scroll-able and you can get to other tabs if you have more, but in firefox is fixed A list like the one from 'List All Tabs' default functionality will be close to acceptable if it would be sorted on most recent used order..

I hope you get the idea of what i'm seeking :)

Hello! Try this: Open a New Tab>> Type in about:config in the address bar>> Click Accept the Risk and Continue>> Type in browser.ctrlTab.sortByRecentlyUsed>> Double-click the first one, after that it should show false in the right side Did it help any?
