Since a recent update. Whenever I start typing a URL into my address bar such as "goo" expecting "google.com" or the like to come up nothing happens. It appears the URL autocomplete is no longer functioning. I've searched extensively for a solution to the issue but have come up with nothing useful. If you can help I would appreciate it.

Hi, it may be possible that you have not turned that function on. Please follow these steps to turn it on: Step 1: Go to settings in your firefox browser Step 2: Select "Search" on the lift side of the screen. Step 3: Under Search suggestions. make sure that you have checked "Provide search suggestions". Step 4: Also check "Show search suggestions in address bar results" and "Show search suggestions ahead of browsing history in address bar results" to improve the auto complete.

Hope this helps!

I've tried these before and they and they don't work. After experimenting a little more I found that there are very few sites that do come up but they are all in my bookmarks only not in previously viewed sites. Where are those sites stored? might I have a problem with that file?
