Autofill from address book in new instance of Thunderbird in Win 10 v.102.2.1 does not work
Hi there, I've installed Thunderbird on a Win 10 (in bootcamp, on a macbook pro) with the latest version 102.2.1. Addresses imported from another machine (into collected addresses) are not findable using the address book search, and do not autofill in the to bar when composing an email. Another(newer) MBP running Win 10 Boot Camp, but running instance of Thunderbird 91.13.0 works flawlessly. Any suggestions as to get the autofill to run in the 102.2.1 version (both 64 bit)? Thanks!

are the entries listed when you click the address list in the address book. It sounds like whatever you did corrupted something. Did you use the import for address books or just copy files around?
Thanks, good idea but I used the export/import function for the addresses both on the export and import sides. I'd test it by udating the version I have that works, but am afraid that might wreck it on the machine where it works. I think I'll remove the program altogether and do a fresh install.
If I do that, where are all the data files kept (like the address book, preferences etc.)? I would like to start from complete scratch with the install. Thanks!
So no luck with a re-install of the 102 version. Found archived 91.13 version and installed, and it worked like a charm on the same machine and OS. Might be worth flagging for developers to compare those 2 versions with this bug in mind.

Please list the steps used, versions used, and export format used. Thanks.
Thanks - With 102 I tried csv and LDIF file export/import, and with 91.13 I stuck with the LDIF format, which worked right away.
Hope this helps you!
