Thunderbird Address Book Sync Add Ons in 91 ==> 102
With the migration from ver. 91 to 102, every one of the sync add ons for Address Book are now incompatible. This includes TbSync, gContactSync, SOGo Connector, and Provider for Exchange ActiveSync. I'm left with a hermetically sealed address book and am forced to use an inferior add on called CardBook that can at least connect to Memotoo which syncs to Google and thus my phone.
What is the timetable for getting these orphaned sync extensions working again with 102 so that Address Book is no longer stranded? I don't care whether I'm syncing to Memotoo or Google. Anything to connect my computer's contacts with my phone's contacts.
My Calendar events are also not syncing between Google and Tbird but it seems like this has been flagged and there are efforts to fix.
As a suggestion for future upgrades, please ensure that these critical add ons are compatible with the next version to prevent loss of functionality. There was no easy offer to rollback to version 91 after all of the broken functions in 102 were revealed. I'm sure that I'm not alone that I would have gladly waited until these things were working before being upgraded. Thunderbird version 102.2.2 on Linux Mint 19.3 on MATE 1.22.2 upgraded from 91.11.0
