When I search for almost any product the first several results are almost always Amazon which I detest. How do I exclude Amazon from search results?

Search where and what search engine are you using?

Firefox itself is a web browser. A search engine would be for example duckduckgo.com, google.com, bing.com

If it is with Google then you could use the Google Advance Search to narrow things a bit. Look in the Gear icon quick settings on top right of google search.

If you ever want to add or change the search engine default in Firefox then see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-or-remove-search-engine-firefox https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-your-default-search-settings-firefox

Begs the question - with any search engine - how does one eliminate Amazon from search results?

Try adding -Amazon (minus Amazon) or -amazon.com
