Firefox sound will not work, I've tried suggestions and nothing is working.
I'm using Windows Starter 7. Computer sounds work, IE sound works. I've created a new profile, made sure all mixers and volumes were on. Web page sounds is enabled. I've updated flash and quicktime. Windows audio is running. I've tried a missing.reg solution. Nothing is working. I like firefox but with no sound it is pretty much a waste of my time. I haven't uninstalled and reinstalled firefox, that is my last resort. Please help.
== I noticed it a couple of days ago. Nothing has changed except for choosing a default player and I've even tried changing that.

Did you check the Firefox application in the volume mixer while that video was playing?

I right clicked on the volume button while a video was playing and when the sound mixer came up, I could see the volume working, as in it was moving up and down with the sound, but could not hear the sound. The sound was all the way up and I adjusted it but it did not make a difference. Thank you

This is the reply I gave on the video.... I give you 100 stars for this!! I've been trying for a month to get my sound back on Firefox. I tried so many things and this was the easiest and it works!. I'm soooo happy. Thanks for your video...yea!
