How do I uninstall the Firefox update on my Eee PC 900?

more options

When I installed the Firefox update for my Eee PC 900 Netbook it worked fine until a couple weeks ago when lots of problems started. First, Firefox wouldn't let me open up two windows without Firefox crashing. Also, the bookmarks is not working and so is the screen capture.

Hi, Alex! Did you update Firefox or an extension? Do you remember what the dialog said for your update?

I ask because the Eee PC generally has system-wide updates for Firefox and doesn't use the internal Firefox update mechanism. The version that you're using - 3.0.4 - is quite old. I don't have one here to test, but there are probably tools in the system menu that will let you update, add and remove programs.

Which version of Linux are you now using? The Asus/Xandros version that came with the EeePC, or did you install a different distro?
