Ever since I got the latest update to FF, pop up Internet Explorer windows come up when I'm on certain (a lot) of sites. I always use FF, but am now constantly bugged and interrupted by these MS Explorer pops up being launched from certain sites while on FF.

Actually now that i see this message I realize it pulled info from my work computer. This problem occurs on my home laptop which has the latest FF update and Windows 7.

Sounds like a dose of Malware on that laptop.

Install, update, and run these programs in this order. They are all free for personal use, but some have limited functionality in the "free mode" - but those are features you really don't need to find and remove the problem that you have. (Not all programs detect the same Malware.)
