Had a problem with a plugin, I changed some settings and now the entire firefox program refreshes every few seconds. How do I restore origional settings?

there was a refresh rate that i changed to -1 then back to 45?? Cant really remember. Now when I watch netflix and have it full screen it will exit on its own to the smaller screen every 45 seconds or so.

There are various add-ons that give the option to reload tabs at set intervals. Try right-clicking on a tab in the tab bar to see if the context menu has the option for reloading tabs. If it does there should be an option to disable reloading tabs.

If you can not find it there, try the procedure in the troubleshooting extensions and themes article to identify if an add-on is causing the problem, and if so how to identify what one.

Judging from the values that you mention, the refresh rate that you mention was probably about the plugin-container process (Out-Of-Process-Plugins).

Pref on the about:config page: dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs
