Running FireFox 3.6.10, Win 7 with 2GB RAM, GB disk to spare. I exit Firefox sometimes and it appears to close but little later either can't re-start or, worse, other programs slow or stop and find Firefox process not shut down and eating up 100% of CPU.

A couple of links that can help with this issue:

Not connected to your problem, but you should reset your user agent string (identifies the browser version), yours is showing Firefox 2.0.0.6 but you appear to have Firefox 3.6.10. For details of how to do this see How to reset the default user agent on Firefox.
