I get a blank screen when I hit a link that opens a new window. How can I fix this?
Anytime I hit a link or submit button that opens me to a new window, I get a blank screen on the new window and cannot do anything with it whatsoever besides X it out...
This is very inconvenient considering almost all sites have this kind of feature like game sites, paying bills sites, etc.
Can anyone please help me. I get the FF crashing all the time too like everyone else. Not sure if this is all related but I need to fix it asap.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!! :)

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

- "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
- "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Thank you so much for the recommendations. I was able to continue as usual with FireFox in Safe Mode. But I am assuming I can't continue to ALWAYS be in safe mode.... Now my question is, how do I determine which add on or program was giving me the problem to begin with?? Any suggestions on how to do that would be great.
Thanks again for your input thus far!! :)

Thank you sooo much cor-el!!! I can't tell you how helpful you have been! I think I accidentally hit NOT helpful on this last post and that is completely WRONG. I've been working on trying to figure out which add on was the culprit and so far so good, nothing new has happened. I will most definitely come back here in the future when and if I run across any further mozilla problems. Thanks for taking the time to answer me!! :)
