Since upgrading to Firefox 4 some font families (like for example "Script") don't work anymore though they were working with Firefox 3.6. How can one solve this?

Can you post a link?
Which script font do you have installed?

Some font families may require to specify additional CSS properties (bold, italic) to make them work.

You can see it for example here in Wikipedia where (at least on my screen) most font-families look the same now. I have also attached a screenshot of the table in the article so you can see.

I don't actually know which font I have installed as I didn't install any in addition. It was propably some system font (is suppose Lucida Handwritig oder Lucida Calligraphy from the looking).

If there are any special installments required please tell me because I have absolutely no idea about such things.

I switched to compatibility mode (Win XP SP3) and the families work as usual. It's rather sad, FF4 still doesn't run on Win7 flawlessly.
