I have tried control pannel options but not get rid of this , I want to remove IE as default browser from tata photon plus modem .

hello .. I m getting frustration due to be unsuccessful for removing IE from starting automatically when I connect and start my Tata Photon +. I don't want IE as my default browser at all !! no, it's not working. even I have tried link ' if MFox not working as default browser' in step no 3 in your supposed link !!!

Doesn't really sound like a Firefox problem. Did you try this link at the bottom if the previous did not work - It takes you back to the Windows set-up -

https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Setting%20Firefox%20as%20the%20default%20browser%20does%20not%20work After that you should go back to try the first suggestion in Safe Mode. There may be an extension problem.

dude , i have gone through that... the problem is in built IE in my modem ( tata photon plus ) !!

O.K. I thought there might be a workaround but I now say even more strongly that this is not a Firefox problem. You need to go back to the manufacturers/distributors of your modem. You could try Google for problems or a forum.
