I do not see any icon for accessing groups next to my tabs as indicated in the help. I have to use the shortcut keys.
I am using Windows XP SP3. In the help for Firefox 5 it indicates icons on the screen to click like the one in far right of the tab bar for access the groups. I have never seen these so not sure if they don't load for my setup or whether I just need to switch them on somewhere (cannot find anything in the menus applicable).
Does Firefox 4 and 5 look different for some operating systems?

The Tab Groups icon is in the Customize Palette.

Yes, Firefox 4/5 looks a bit different on WinXP than it does on Vista & Win7, the orange Firefox button doesn't show and the Menu Bar does on WinXP installations. Simply right-click on the Manu Bar and un-check the Menu Bar item in that contextual menu.
There are also slight variations on Mac and Linux versions, too.

Thanks edmeister. Link was helpful.
I managed to resolve this by right clicking on an empty space in the toolbar and selecting "Customize". The icon then appeared in the toolbar area while the Customize dialogue box was still open. I then dragged it to a visible area. So looks like it was there but just hidden and for some reason not showing up in any of the toolbars whenever I selected them.
Have the orange Firefox button now too. Thanx! :-)
You can also find a link to open Tab Groups in the drop down list of the List all Tabs button at the right end of the tab bar (Shift+Ctrl+E).
Hi cor-el. Thanks for the tip. That is true but I cannot see the List all Tabs button at the end of my tab bar because I am on XP (hence my original question).
