We don't have a Symbian browser. For now we have support for Android and MeeGo/Mameo. Symbian poses a problem in that the phone is pure Java and Firefox is a C/C++ application.

Actually Symbian S60 (Belle, Anna, ^3, v5, v3) (the smartphone OS) is pure C++ but Symbian S40 (the "dumbphone" OS) is also C++ but it can only run j2me (java) apps. Symbian S60 witch the N8 runs on is natively completely C++ (Qt) but it also has a j2me emulator to run also java apps. Android though is natively java but through much difficulty using the NDK you can get C++ to sort of work so I think you have your story wrong.

All MeeGo apps are Qt C++ which Symbian also supports (Qt was recently integrated) so any MeeGo app basically just needs to be recompiled for Symbian.
