Why do I have a different Google Sign on screen today to access the web?

more options

When I accessed the web via Firefox today there was a different screen w/o the Firefox bar at the top. None of the recent Bookmarks were accessible and it appeared that I was not going through the Mozilla access to the web. I have changed nothing since my sign on yesterday when everything was working fine. I am afraid I am not being protected by Mozilla. Please advise. Thanks, Fred

You are Firefox 5.0 today and likely to get updated to 6.0, what version of Firefox were you on yesterday. What is the url of your current page, and is it also our home age.

The complete change of the toolbars from version 3.6.* can be customized back to looking like 3.6 see ...

You can make Firefox 4.0 thru 6.0 look like Firefox 3.6.*, see numbered items 1-10 in the following topic Fix Firefox 4.0 toolbar user interface, problems (Make Firefox 5.0, or 4.0.1, look like 3.6). Whether or not you make changes, you should be aware of what has changed and what you have to do to use changed or missing features.

There is a lot more beyond those first 10 steps listed, if you want to make Firefox more functional.
