I am having a ton of problems with FF 6
I just wanted to let you know that I am having quite a few problems with the upgrade to 6.
- Bulleted list itemI've gotten "Unresponsive Script" crashes quite a few times - and the only solution is restart the computer
- Bulleted list itemThe browser freezes and the only solution is "Force Quit", and try again
- Bulleted list itemFor one reason or another, I am not able to edit HTML behind my Wordpress websites
These are major problems. I have discontinued use of Firefox for the first time in a year and a half (I am writing this on Google Chrome). I would like to use it, but, until these things are fixed, I can't. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

I am not a Mac user so general comments only
- do the unresponsive script messages give any further info indicating what the exact problem is
(May help you figure out which add-on , or whatever is causing a problem)
- see firefox hangs
I got this message with one of the Unresponsive script errors:
"script: resource:///components/nsBlocklistService.js:733"
Got another one. Here it is in full text:
Unresponsive script
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
Keeps happening in Gmail.
I am sorry but I am not able to help, other than again making a couple of general comments.
I do note there are some bugs mentioning crashes with Lion, and some other threads in this forum about crashes, but I am not sure it is anything more than would normally occur for various reasons.
The "script: resource:///components/nsBlocklistService.js:733" possibly indicates Firefox is finding a problem with one of your plugins. The other as you mention will be specific to Gmail. I wonder if other Lion users are having problems. It may be worth trying Google's forums to see if there are any known issues.
This thread itself has not got many (6 votes) users saying they have similar problems. It is possible the problems are related to your machine, and one particular site rather than some problem with Firefox 6.
There are known issues with some of Lion's features, & I think developers are working on them, possibly with changes being expected in Firefox 9. (Firefox 9 is currently undergoing development and testing on the Nightly channel)
