each time I log on the bar is at the bottom. It blocks stuff. I don't like it. How do I get rid of it without each time having to the menu bar and right clicking?

That Add-ons bar has a close (X) button at the far left.

That can happen if you have extensions installed that place content (buttons or text) on the Add-ons bar.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
