Chosen solution

Hi Ron,

Have you looked at the Knowledge Base article Search bar - add, change and manage search engines on Firefox? There is a lot of good information in there. Do you happen to have a Yahoo! Toolbar installed? You should disable or remove that as well if you do. Try starting Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down shift while Firefox starts. If you don't have any issues in Safe Mode, it's a add-on or extension issue.

Hopefully this helps!
