Something that you have downloaded/installed on your system has changed your keyword.URL preference to http://search.bearshare.com/web?src=ffb&q=. If the information entered in the URL/location bar can not be resolved, this will cause searches from the URL/location bar to go to the setting in keyword.URL pref. Completely uninstalling Bearshare can be difficult. Be careful what you download!

See: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&tbs=qdr%3Ay&q=%22firefox+remove+bearshare%22&btnG=Search Reset keyword.URL preference -Enter about:config in the address/URL bar and press the Enter key -If you see a warning, accept it (Promise that you will be careful) -Filter = keyword.url -Below the Filter, right-click on keyword.URL and choose "Reset" -Restart Firefox (File > Restart Firefox)
