When I open a new tab I want to see my home page. How do I get it to do this as at present anpther page appears.

When I open a new tab a search engine appears which I dont want but I do need it to be Google which I do use. Google comes up as my home page when Firefox first starts but 'if I open a second tab it doesnt.'

A new tab opens by default as a blank tab (about:blank).

You can middle-click or hold down Ctrl and left-click the Home button on the Navigation toolbar to open the Home page in a new tab.
