Link preview blocks link: any suggestions?

Occasionally a web page will have a link in the bottom left corner that I wish to click. The URL preview blocks the link, oscillating rapidly in and out of existence as it blocks the link. My only solution is to massively increase magnification of the page until the link text is large enough to no longer be entirely covered by the URL preview. Does anyone else have any better solutions to this problem?

The link preview should switch position automatically to the opposite side of the browser window to prevent that from happening.

Are those links very long or do you have the Firefox window set small?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
