Is there a Firefox for Australia? When I went to download it, I was offered British, US or South African versions. Alas, not being British or from the US or South African, I can't use Firefox! (Damn it!:) Will there be Firefox versions for other countries in the future? For Australia? Thanks.

You can use Firefox in Australia. Just download the English (US) or English (British) version. Up to you what language you want.

The different versions of Firefox refer to different languages available, not the countries it is available for. There is no Australian version of the browser because 'Australian' isn't a language, Australians (on the whole) speak English.

You can install the English Australian dictionary and the Firefox en-GB version that doesn't come with its own dictionary unlike the en-US version.

No kidding! Australians speak English? Never would've guessed! But the choices I'm given are British, US or South African. I'm not given language choices, I'm given country choices. And since when has 'US' been a language? Maybe (and this may be a stretch to implement) users who are not British or from the US or from South Africa(?) are not offered moronic choices like this! My original post was a sarcastic question aimed at imbeciles who assume that people from 'countries' other than Britian or the US (or from South Africa) want to be given choices like this!!

And I'll ask this again: Since when has the 'US' been a language?
