Firefox adds 7 tabs, probably the prior session, when all I want is one tab for my brouser - How do I make it go back to how it used to work?
In order to open a new tab to my browser I have always clicked on the "+" button to the right of the open tabs, then clicked on the 'Home' icon just above. I think that ever since I updated to the latest firefox version (I'm now on 10.0.2) that process is flawed. When I hover over the 'Home' icon a list appears with what may be a saved session. When I click on the 'Home' icon 7 new tabs are ADDED to my current session. Nothing I've done has helped.

You might have set all seven tabs as a home page in the Startup, home page, tabs, and download settings. See How to set the home page to restore the default home page or to set a single page.
