Browsing was slow, so I cleaned w/ Onyx; now bookmark toolbar doesn't appear unless I click it off in View, then click again;

open pages no longer reload, 'restore pages' greyed out in menu, even after setting Restore pages as Home, and Restart w/o add-ons protocol;

& bookmarked MSNBC vid player now loads at the edge/off the window. (plays ok from embedded player, but not by clicking on images @ top of page.)

Maybe it is best to create a new profile if you have so many issues with the current profile.

See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

Thanks, I'll try this and get back.

PS: Mac OSX 10; And I hoped the problems would resolve w/ the recent update, but not so. I'm also unable to use new Thunderbird updates, they hand and I've had to stick w/ Version 3, instead of 10. I've repaired permissions...maybe these problems are related?? thx.

After several attempts to access Profile manager, Apple told me that this is no longer available since OSX 10.6. He suggested resetting my ACL system, which I did, with no results. Apple suggested that if this did not work I should fully uninstall FF and re-install. I've looked at the uninstall/install pages...do you agree this is my next step? thx.
