There is a sudden change in appearance of Yahoo mail inbox, not so on IE. Why?
Starting yesterday the email list in yahoo mail inbox was all crowded to the top of the page and harder to read. Font also smaller when opening individual messages. Zooming in font helps with individual emails but makes the lines in the inbox message list overlap each other. This is not happening in IE but I prefer Firefox. Why is this happening?

Hi CGanz,
Have you looked at the Websites look wrong or appear differently than they should Knowledge Base article? There is some good information in there. You might also want to check to see if your Yahoo! email account has different view preferences. I know Gmail has different layouts. Many of which are too crowded for my taste. You should search the Yahoo! help documentation to see if there is a setting that you might need to change if the steps in that article don't work:

Hopefully this helps!
Thank you for the response. Yes I looked at the Websites Look wrong articles and I have contacted Yahoo. They essentially just gave me the zoom in and out stuff which isn't the answer. Since the problem isn't showing up on Internet Explorer it really doesn't seem to me like it is a Yahoo issue.
Just to be sure, have you already tried:
- Resetting the minimum font size
- Checking to be sure Java is enabled
- Resetting the Page Style
- Clearing the cache
- Starting Firefox in Safe Mode
These are the likely culprits if it isn't a preference on Yahoo!'s side.
Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.
- View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)
If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a (too) high value can cause issues.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow websites to choose their fonts.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with overlapping text.
You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.
- Default FullZoom Level: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/
I have checked everything you mentioned above except restarting in safe mode. When looking into restarting in safe mode, a lot of options came up that I would be unsure how to make the right selections so that everything returns to previous settings if needed. Or in other words how to tell if I would just be creating new issues. I just don't understand how the change happened in the first place as I did not make any changes myself.
