Yesterday, suddenly my FireFox stopped working and I couldn't get it to work anymore. So I disables the plugins and it worked. I found out that Flash Player is causing the problems. Now, I have FlashPlayer uninstalled so it works better. But I really need it! I've tried everything to get it to work, Disable plugins, Safe-Mode, Old Flash Player installation but nothing works..

What's going on? And can I get it back to work again?

(I think Flash Player did it on purpose, since they add "Chrome" to download .. is there a huge FlashPlayer - FireFox war going on? ..)

Is there anyone that could help me please?

I temporary added Chrome to my computer, because I can't do anything on FireFox as it is of now.

Ok, fine .. . No one will help me, not even after years and years of being a FireFox-user. I'll just reinstall this ... and stick with Chrome.

Sorry you are having problems. There is however no simple solution other than changing browser. Flash Player 11.3 was released with a few changes including using a new protected mode. Since then some Firefox users have had crashes and various other problems. Often the only solution so far has been to downgrade to flash 10.3 or 11.2 (Or some geeks fiddle with the settings).

The current suggested advice/action is still: Recent crashes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox 13 are most probably caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and/or a malfunctioning Real Player browser plugin.

In order to remedy the problem, please perform the steps mentioned in these Knowledge Base articles:

Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems

Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again

Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox

Internet Explorer uses a different type of Flash Software, and should still work. Google Chrome has for a while now come with an integrated FlashPlayer and also would be expected to continue working.

NOTE you may need to uninstall FlashPlayer with an Adobe uninstaller. (That is the method given in the official advice above) before reinstalling Flash 10.3 or 11.2, but that could have unintended consequences, and mean you need to reinstall Flashlpayer then for IE before that will work.
