I want to keep my current firefox session (which is around 50 tabs) after I have upgraded my operating system to Windows 7, how do I do this?

Chosen solution

The sessionstore.js file in your profile folder stores your currently open tabs and windows. You can create a backup copy of this file and place it in your new Firefox profile.

To be extra-safe, it's a good idea to right-click a tab and choose Bookmark All Tabs, then create a backup copy of your bookmarks for safekeeping.
