I can't login to Gmail. It says cookies are turned of, but they ARE turned on. I have tried everything, including reinstalling firefox, but nothing helps.

hello emilsson01, please go through the troubleshooting steps described at: Websites say cookies are blocked - Unblock them.

I have already done this, and it didn't work. I think it stopped working directly after I installed Spybot S&D, so I uninstalled it, but that didn't help either. Also, I do have adware on my computer, that I haven't got rid of yet.

I will try your solution again and come back with results.

I have the same problem and to get it to work I have gone into Tools, Options, Privacy, Show Cookies and deleted all cookies, then go to the Advanced tab, find Cached Web Content and click the Clear Now button. After you cleared the Cache restart Firefox and it works normal, but only for so long, in my case 1 day, then I had to do it over again. This has been happening since I went from Firefox 16 to Firefox 17.
