I am connected to a wireless network and it shows I have Internet but it needs to authenticate it but when I open the browser it can't find the server.

I am using it with avg anti virus free edition 2013. When I try to open browser it tries to redirect to the network submit page and can't find it. I know the server works because I can sign on anytime on my iPhone and on my other computer.

Sometimes Firefox can remember the results of previous failures. To do a fresh reload bypassing the cache, try:

Ctrl+Shift+r

In some cases, you could try opening a different site that you do not normally visit, such as microsoft.com and see whether that redirects correctly.
