How to clear history in main Google search window using shortcuts?

more options

It has slipped my mind how to simply highlight all previous search's in large center screen Google search bar, then clear history.

There was no need to go to pull down menu's at top of page. It was something like holding down the ctrl and some other key???

please help!

That isn't mentioned in the help article: Control whether Firefox automatically fills in forms.

In some lists, you can use Shift+End to select to the end of the list, in others you might need to hold Shift and the Down arrow together. I don't have Firefox save form autocomplete information, so I can't test it myself.
