I have tried to select another design ... it shows the preview...but when I select "Wear It" the original design don't change...WHY??? I expected this problem on the past with this Add On... But I like it and I don't want to remove it!

The Personas Plus extension adds some extra features to Firefox, but you don't actually need it to use personas.

For me, not having that extension, if I go to http://www.getpersonas.com/, Firefox will automatically switch to the latest one I installed. If I want to remove it later or switch back, I use the Add-ons tab here:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Appearance category

Do you want to give the built-in feature a try? To start, go to the following tab and disable Personas Plus:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category

Any luck?

You can check for problems with preferences and try to rename or delete the prefs.js file and possible numbered prefs-##.js files and a possible user.js file to reset all prefs to the default values.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing mode.

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"
