If I go into fullscreen my tabbar wont reliable show up when I move my mouse to the top of the screen. It shows up when I go into quicksearch or the url bar via key shortcut. Everything else works as supposed when this happens.

Chosen solution

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

You can also check for problems with the localstore.rdf file.

Does the tab bar stay visible if you right-click empty space on the tab bar and remove the check-mark from the "Hide Toolbars" entry?

Thanks

Issue is caused by an addon. Could have figured that out myself in hindsight.
