I use to have my history show for the last few months. No it only shows for the last (24) hours. My settings are set to save all history and it is not on Private Browsing Mode. How can I get it back to the original setting?

Maybe you cleared your history the past day... try again for 2-3 day, if it doesn't work out...post here again, so we might look further...

Are you using "Clear history when Firefox closes"?

  • do not clear the Browsing History

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
