Your computer's hard drive quit. Therefore, if Firefox was not setup to the Firefox Sync and if no Firefox application data was stored on an external hard drive, you can't restore the data.

Sorry, but you can try taking the old computer to a professional to see if they can remove the old data from the device.

what happend is i turned my hp laptop on and all it will do is give me a black screen and the caps lock button flashes and so does the internet button but windows will not load the screen just stays black

Yeah if you cant boot (computer maker logo) past the BIOS your bookmarks are gone.
