On Windows 8, Firefox runs very similarly to earlier versions of Windows. One issue has come up here before with touchscreen systems. Some websites detect your touch capabilities and change the page to take advantage of them. In some cases, this may override the mouse. For example, the site might make some menus available only by touch so you can't use the mouse. If you notice problems with sites not responding to clicks, try touching the screen. If that becomes annoying, you can set Firefox not to tell sites that you have a touchscreen.

Will you need any tips on transferring over your settings? Feel free to come back for those.
